Starting to open up some of the lesser '10's. This is showing well, but could hold another few years.
Nose of coffee, tilled soil, graphite, and some light blackberry notes. Flavors of black berry, with plum and earthy notes mix with medium, well integrated dusty tannins. Very well balanced. A pleasure to drink.

Scratched my Graves itch, but lacked the character I was hoping for. High toned tobacco, scorched earth, and cherry. A little disjointed... seemed to flicker on and off, but never really came together.

As smooth as smooth can be. The balance leans a tough towards sweet woody notes, and pipe tobacco. It is not complex by any stretch of the imagination, but it's just delicious.
