Château Graville-Lacoste
Graves Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend
My go-to casual oyster shucking wine for summer. A little less complex and nuanced than the 2016 but very solid nonetheless.

Jul 17th, 2019Nice little wine, quite reduced on first opening, then blowing off to reveal grapefruit and lemon notes, with a minty edge. Light and fresh with cracking acidity

Mar 28th, 2019Haut Brion’s neighbors are making some delicious white blends. This one has the acidity and minerality one would expect from this region. A tartness follows as well.

Apr 5th, 2020Light, crisp, citrusy and perfect for sipping on a hot florida evening down by the river. It paired very well with salad and pasta Rockefeller with shrimp.

Aug 9th, 2019Do NOT sleep on White BDX. This is ethereal, lacy, fresh cut white flowers—killer with chilled King Crab legs. As the price of Burgundy becomes more and more offensive I am turning to other regions that offer high quality wine at reasonable price points. This bottle is an easy pounder—and food friendly—for sub $20 is exactly what I’m looking for.
