Very nice and smooth French blend - easy to drink Merlot & dual cabs. Easy drinking like a quality Napa. Medium bodied & light on the tongue. Ripe young tannins make this a good glass!

Nose has fruit nuances and mild oak. Dark red color, medium bodied. Earthy flavors accompanied with black cherry, plum and a very slight smoky flavor likely attributed to the layer of oak. Tannins are medium but not distracting leaving a mild dryness on the finish. Overall the wine is very well balanced but the fruit is milder than expected but still shows pretty well (but doesn't linger long). Let this one breath to bring the flavors out more.

We let this decant for a good 30 minutes. Smooth, easy drinking wine. It was very good with dark chocolate caramels! Husband liked it with a cigar.

2012v. A very rustic style Bordeaux. Slight bit of cedar in the nose. Very dry on the palette, with hints of dark fruit. Tons of acid and ample but not overwhelming tannins, even after tasting it again the next day. Kind of meh on its own but works as a good complement to heartier fare. 13.5% ABV. 60/20/20 merlot, cab franc, cab sav. Let it breathe for at least 1.5/2 hrs.

Cocoa smells, oaky. Light taste, should be aged a bit longer. A bit watery, subtle fruits l, great and refreshing balance. Good for a first Bordeaux region, expected a bit more.

We drank the bottle and enjoyed it. Wouldn't be my first choice but not bad.
