This wine seems ubiquitous in my area, for good reason I think. Subdued nose but it follows through with shapely mouth and enough fruit and finish that I feel satisfied. And for the price, duh.

Another race day eve, and another rose.
fresh nose of high altitude strawberries.
Medium bodied wine the weighs in with pomegranate flesh, mandarin zest and jolly rancher. All unified by a tinge of acidity that just won’t go away. Very much like this lingering jolly ranchers..
Why are they so jolly? Must be this rose.

Nice subtle orange flavors with subtle strawberry finish. Some minerality as well.

Picked this up in a grocery store without even looking at the vintage; got home and popped it and was fresh as a strawberry patch, looked at the vintage and it was 2012; kinda shocked it was still alive and kicking!
