2016 vintage. Biodynamically farmed 22 hectares estate. A blend of 75 % Merlot and 25 % Cabernet Sauvignon. Intriguing nose with cassis and an intriguing minerality. I believe I would have guessed left bank in a blind tasting. Solid structure, concentrated fruit and nice length. The ripe tannins need to soften up a bit, but everything is in place. Terrific ageworthy value at less than 14 euros. Abv. 13%.

I had higher hopes for this one, but this particular bottle was quite murky and disjointed, lacking focus and definition. Put it away, and unfortunately the next day it continued to decline. Maybe a vintage issue, maybe a bad bottle?
