2015 vintage. Intoxicating perfume with cassis, blueberries, roses and very subtle cedar wood. No lack of power, but textbook Margaux finesse, an iron fist in a velvet glove. Layered and very long. Highly recommended. Abv. 14%.

Absolutely delicious and another living proof that 2008 is an underrated vintage in Bordeaux, the wine is really elegant and balanced, smooth and tasty, the nose opens up with notes of blackcurrant ,oak , earth, blackberry, tobacco, black fruit , chocolate, cassis and a light touch of dried herbs, the body is full with smooth round tannins, that open up after a couple of hours of decanting and the finish is long and delicious. This wine is all about fitness and elegance. My score 91, drink to 2024

A full on wine. Leather, tobacco, plums. Lots of structure. Really food.

A very fresh and youthful style than other #margaux #grandcruclassé I was surprised by its acidity and minimal oxidative qualities.

Great effort. 3.5hour decant. Violets and wild mushrooms on the nose. Deep rich blackberry and cassis. with integrated tannins and lead pencil. Long finish make this a winner

Outstanding Bordeaux! It needs to age longer, but in 5-10 years you will have the one of the most powerful wine.

Drinking beautifully, in a good spot!
