A nice weeknight Bordeaux Blanc, 60% Semillon & 40% Sauvignon Blanc.

Nose is uncomplicated, white flowers, honey and recently cut hay.
Palate has light honey, squeeze of lime and grapefruit pith, apricot on the finish.

Still several years to go on this bottle until it begins to shed some of its medium acidity.

2011 has come of age. 70% Semillon, 30% Sauvignon Blanc. Wild flowers, citrus, honey and linen on the nose. Lemon butter, citrus with a crisp minerality and fruit tannins on the palate. Long finish. Great example of a complex Bordeaux Blanc under $25 retail. Would expect $42-44 in restaurants. Worthy of a great meal.

A lithe, medium-minus Graves with subtle leesy creaminess and mere hints of grassy Sauvignon Blanc. A real class act for under $25.

This wine is weird. I can't tell if I like it or not. There is huge amounts of asparagus on the nose. Like, exactly asparagus. The palate is very wild , but with some good fruit crammed in the middle of all of the green flavors. Great acidity and balance. Still... pretty weird.

Not sure if this is the label but it’s a graves Blanc. 2021 appellation graves controlee. Easy white. A bit sweet. Easy to drink but absolutely burnt my palate on some calm chowder. Great day at the lobster pound enjoying a nice white. Would get it again. Fruit forward, good nose. Easy as this afternoon.

Honeydew and honeysuckle nose, big melon and light citrus palate. Pretty straight-forward sauv blanc.
