bit disappointing - subdued nose of dark fruit, some mineral & earth, but not terribly expressive - same w/palate thru to rustic finish

This could use a heavy decant. Great tannins, tobacco, soy sauce, slate. I like this more the more it opens up. Some blackberry, maybe a note of plum.

A nice melody of mixed red and dark cherries, some raspberry. Followed by an earthy and slightly acidic backbone. There are hints of tobacco. Medium tannin. Very good.
