Moderate concentration, moderate minus staining. Juicy black plums, blackberry, apricot, black pepper, purple flowers, some new oak notes but relatively subdued. Tight and firm medium tannin. Medium to medium plus acidity and body.

Too sweet and oaky for a Bordeaux. Otherwise decently made.

Pours a dense purple hue. Brooding and structured but with generous black fruit, spice, and vanilla, with a lively finish.

One of my favorite cru-bourgeois. there is thorough vineyard management at this estate. Vines are 30 years old on avg, and only organic fertilizers are used. 12 months in about 30% new oak. 84% cab 16% merlot. The result is a brooding wine, certainly not elegant, and perhaps murky. But with ripe black fruit and no excess of new oak, and well textured. worth seeing how this will age in the next year or two.

Very nice cab based blend. Structural elements with a little earth and good dense weight

Young Bourdeau...
I guess the floral notes are from the petit verdot? Buttery nose, decent body, flavor, but then it crashes and burns into a bitter mess.

15.5+/20 (86+/100) Вино с ароматами спелых ягод чёрной смородины, яблок, морёной древесины и молочного шоколада. Довольно кислотное, танины интенсивные, вяжущие. Очень молодо. (08.09.17)

Very interesting wine with a great cost x benefit.
Great bordaux blend with 76% cab, 16.5% petit verdot and 7.5% merlot, resulting in a dark and shine violet wine. On nose, ripe fruit mainly from black/blueberries, cherry and oak. In mouth, you can feel the petit verdot giving the acidity, structure and tannins well smoothed by the oak aging well complemented by the power of the cab and the softness/fruitness from merlot with a mid end in mouth very pleasent and enjoyable.

It’s fine. Not my favorite at all. There’s a tartness that eases up after it’s been breathing for an hour or so.
