2010 vintage. Unfortunately for many of us wines made from the Gamay grape will always have an image of being too fruity etc even if they can express a real personality, character when made in a Burgundian way.

Really strong earth notes, chocolate. Opened then put the bottle in the fridge for a chill. Delicious.

2014. Moderate color and body. Very drinkable. Spare flavor profile with moderate tannins and finish.

Excellent, light and slightly sweet but a lot of character. Well balanced. Fruits and hints of spice and wood. Love it

Red fruit on the noes. Spice and tannins on the finish. Beaujolais without the fruit punch

Dark ruby red and as black as my heart at its center. Aromas of tar, raspberry, wet wood, chocolate mint and iron. I love this nose. Rich in mouthfeel, medium bodied with medium tannin and bright acidity. Flavors of dry stone, raspberry, cranberry, flat cola and toffee. Finishes with stripping tannin, dry stone, cranberry and chocolate mint.

As much as I want to love Moulin, gamay is just too fruit forward and gives me the ever young feeling. Chateau is beautifully situated on a rock with a windmill and wind coming from 3 sides.

Not my favorite. Granted this is 6 years old about. Opened with a little tinge of a meaty note that blew off but backed with some red fruit and some stone flavors (slate perhaps? Probably from moulin a vent.) but there isn’t anything to excite you other than the fruit and some of the liberality. Fruit is red and there are more tannins than expected. Not a bad wine but seems to be made in a safe way, the edges are rounded off and I think some edges would give it character. Reminds me of manipulated napa wines somewhat. Have another bottle. Will try later.
