Ahhhh Cahors. A lot going on here. Dark fruit, spice and meat with a little wild blueberry and chocolate. Elegant- though tannins still evident and a touch of brett adds a layer of authenticity. SUBSTANTIAL. Begging for some beef. Ain't nothin' wrong with aged Malbec from Southern France.

This is a complex nose of red and dark fruit with hints of leather and earth. The palate has rounded into multiple layers of dark fruit with mineral accents.

An intense young nose even with very little time in the decanter. Strong flavors that lean toward the dark fruit spectrum.
Right now in mild hibernation.
Nothing that time will not heal.

Dark purple in the glass; drinking pour is near black. Nose of meaty menthol and dark fruits. Full-bodied mouthfeel with moderate tannins. Dark fruit cobbler with meaty menthol through to the finish. Well-made softer style of the black wine. Probably want to drink up in the next couple of years.

Near perfect. 1 of best Malbecs ever tasted. Stellar tannin quality, zero oak, waves of bitter cherry. Wow

Very good and probably just a puppy. Air reveals leather, earth and licorice.
