For over 80 years three generations of Dubourdieu’s have produced sweet white wines: Georges (1924-1948), Pierre (1949-1999) and Denis since 2000. Bouquet of ripe sweet stone fruits and dried fruit and orange scents. On the palate ripe peach and apricot flavors adding in some tart citru notes with intense botrytis, "noble rot" fruit. Lingering finish ending a bit crisp showing vivid acidity. Very Nice, but this one needs time. Tasting Sample!

2014 vintage. One of the last vintages of the late Denis Dubordieu who sadly passed away in 2016. This was a great year for Sauternes, combining lots of botrytis with high acidity. Refined perfume with dried apricot, almond, quince, orange peel and the typical roasted noble rot aroma. In the mouth it is very fresh with juicy acidity balancing the layers of dried fruits and a long lingering finish that leaves impressions of almonds and fresh mint. Gorgeous Barsac and reasonably priced. Abv. 13,5 %.

The 2015 Doisy-Daëne
has a very refined bouquet, extremely pure with honey, white flowers, touches of quince and beeswax. This is classy, refined and sophisticated. The palate is very well defined with a fine bead of acidity, fresh and vibrant with a precise
and quite persistent finish that is very classy. Superb. Tasted blind at the Southwold 2015 Bordeaux tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, July 2019)

Just a baby and feeling a little closed and askew; slight shoe polish like nose.
