Shocked by how much I enjoyed this D'Esclans Rosé. Peachy pink color with a peachy pear nose. Some slate-y minerality, high acid. Very delicate, slight finish. A fruit forward Provence rosé. Very drinkable on a bright and breezy spring day.

My local supermarket wine steward recommended this second label Rosé for its dryness. Pinkish and golden yellow. Faintly white floral nose. In the mouth - Peach skin, then grape and white peach, then a peach and lemon fruit finish. Reminded me of the fruit cocktail I ate as a kid (but the French kids always ate better at school than we did; life ain’t fair). Is it dry? Yes it mostly is, but more acid and dryish than dry. But not to call this fruit-forward would be ridiculous... A mineral touch in the finish as well

An expressive Rose’. Wild raspberry and melon aromas and flavors. Touch of white pepper spice. Good acidity. Pretty well integrated. Crisp.

A cotes de Provence rosé with a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah grapes. A lovely encapsulation of summer sipping with a pale salmon colour, crisp acidity and fresh fruity notes of tangerine, pomegranate and some crushed rocks.

It’s fine. Not the most exciting wine lists down here so far.

Had at a local restaurant and enjoyed.

Glad to find it again. Perfect with pasta.

Not my speed... floral forward taste, almost a slight bitter kind of taste.

Strawberry, light, less complex than regular but just as pleasing and easy drinking.
