Everything I dislike about the 2015 Beaujolais vintage dialled up to 11. No acid. Baked, raisin-y fruit. Flabby. 14.5% alcohol. I mean, thankfully no new oak - otherwise you'd think this was an anonymous Paso red blend. It's not a terrible wine. It's just not Beaujolais at all.

deep ruby color. round and gourmet mouth. licorice, blackfruits, stonefruits, cherry note, deep/delicate finish, need to get some fresh air.
