Bright and deep cherry red. Shy nose of red cherry and white pepper. Medium full bodied palate yields spicy cherry and black cranberry with firm acidity and a bit of French oak. Juicy lingering finish gives a bit of anise toward the end. Classic Tavel that’s ready for any place you’d take a lighter red. The Thanksgiving table is a particularly good match in American homes as it will compliment the eclectic fare. Drink now for the fresh cranberry tones, or hold through 2030 for a classic Old World experience.

Bracing acidity shores up the medium to full (for a rosé) body. Young Tavel giving a glimpse of what could come five to ten years on. A great wine with light “red wine” or heavier “white wine” dishes as well as an intriguing late summer/early fall sipper. Drink now or hold through 2028.

Impressive and fun for warm summer day....strawberry/licorice, yet intense mineral and acidity. Found this gem unfortunately hiding behind other summer rosés. Delightful and need more.
