Vieilles Vignes Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Lean. Not a lot of fruit. Fairly astringent.

Good aroma and taste for Pinot noir. I want to buy it again.

Savory funk on nose that opens up to red fruit with baking spice.
Broad start, drying coating tannins with sharp-tart acidity.
Needs food.

Very nice at cool cellar temp, we enjoyed in the evening in Kauai. Well balanced and refreshing.

Not a bad bargain Burgundy at all. Very obviously Burgundian. Nice.

Cherries. Tart cherries. A little earthiness as well. Light bodied.

2012 in 2018. Very drinkable.

2012. definitely needed air. soil & earth on the nose. light-medium bodied. tart fruit, dry, light tannins.

Started out with lots of earthy tonalities: mushrooms, forest, dirt, and healthy minerality. Time gave it more focused strawberry fruit and dialed acidity. Balanced stages of finesse. Great complexity and versatility. Nose showed elegance. Regional Bourgogne at its best. Happy Thanksgiving! Cheers!
