Fairly opulent aromas of squishy fruit and honey. Much the same on the palate but with minerals. Acid gives the lift it needs. Very nice.

Disappointing. So much new oak - it could be anything underneath all of that. It would make a decent Chardonnay actually, but has lost everything that makes Viognier "Viognier". Well made - but not typific of Viognier.

2013. Louis Barruol has a nice touch with Viognier. His Condrieu are always nice and this is no exception.

Does have layers of fruit and flowers with just the merest whiff of minerality. Could maybe do with a couple more years. However overall this is rich creamy and pleasing.
