Consider this $10 #castillion #cotesdebordeaux: laid-back cassis, blackberry preserves, smoked meat, and faint black pepper nose with vibrant acidity in your mouth, Right Bank earthy character and sturdy tannins that trail off for a good spell. The only fault is it lacks heft being medium bodied. Good QPR for the bargain Bordeaux lover available at Costco.

Plummy and dry, with smoke, wood, and earthy minerality. Moderate tannins and low acidity. This was not expensive at all, and although it’s not very complex it has the necessary elements to be a bargain Bordeaux that over delivers.

We took a trip to majestic with the aim to find a nice bottle of red for under £15 and we loved what we chose! Smooth and subtly fruity. It went down a little too easy!
