Salmon in color.

Fresh nose with red berries, and medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with red fruits, citrus, earth, spices, apples and minerals.

This Single Vineyard Rosé is elegant and nicely balanced. Complex and interesting. Fruit forward with enough earth notes to compliment it.

Still very young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

A good sipping wine that will pair nicely with food too.

A blend of 95% Mourvedre with 5% Clairette. Aged in concrete vats for 9 months.

14% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

$55.

Light, brilliant orange. Expansive, mineral-accented blood orange, red currant and nectarine aromas are complemented by suggestions of succulent herbs, honey and lavender. Sappy, chewy and penetrating on the palate, offering densely packed red berry, pit fruit and floral flavors underscored by a vein of chalky minerality. Smoothly plays power off finesse and finishes minerally and extremely long, with repeating floral and pit fruit notes. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, July 2021)

Orange peel, a little funk, lemon, white peoper, a little cream as it opens, maybe like a dreamsicle, sour lemon/orange on the palate. Strawberry, laser sharp, perhaps a little young? The funk still lurks in the background which is a plus.

The color is more red-pink than say orange-copper...made from 100% Mourvèdre, this is made in not just amphora as you can see on the label but also 30hL foudre.

A pure elegance and density in the nose of fruits that are complemented by plenty of licorice. The palate is texturally thinner, but more structured, more fruit than spice. More apparent acidity, really fresh and bright with some weight on the finish.

At the end of the day though only some minor differences to the regular rose.

The new fashions in winemaking gathered in a bottle: clay pot (made of sandstone actually) and an extracted rose d'automne (fall rosé). The result is a very ample, wineous (vineux) wine
