Ruby with aromas of ripe fruits with pepper spice, simple wine. On the palate flavors of ripe black berry fruit with herb and big black pepper spice. Short finish, grippy tannins, ending with earthy spice.

Nov 1st, 2016Violets, leather and berries on the nose. The mouthfeel is almost too dusty. The violets continue throughout, accompanied by a streak of bakers chocolate, a mulch-woodiness, and finishes with a touch of black berries. There's something animalistic going on here...not sure why. Definitely needs some breathing before it settles in. At least one hour of decanting, serve at 65°F.

Aug 22nd, 2015Tour de France transfer stage 13 wine. Black cherry and a bit flabby. But pleasant. Congrats Sagan. Good spirit and so close. Go green.
