Black cherry, wet rocks, and a touch of petrol (blows off after a bit) on the nose. A mix of red and black fruits on the medium palate. Medium tannins and finish.

A blend of 50/50 Cab Sauv/Merlot, aromas of ripe berry fruits with notes of cedar. On the palate blackberry flavors with toasty oak and cacao notes. Firm grippy tannins, balanced, medium finish ending with fruit character. Tasting Sample.

Tried this simple inexpensive blend about a year ago, still about the same. A blend of 50/50 Cab Sauv/Merlot, aromas of ripe berry fruits with notes of cedar. On the palate blackberry flavors with toasty oak and cacao notes. Firm grippy tannins, balanced, medium finish ending with fruit character. Drink now no further bottle age benefit. Tasting Sample.

Earthy at first and needed to open up but was then quite good.

Harsh, acidic wine. Not much charm in this wine, even after airing it out. Some licorice flavors but mostly alcohol and acid.

Medium ruby color. Aromas of black cherry and smoked wood. Great flavors that need a food pairing. I paired it with Italian sausage tortellini with tomato/basil sauce. Good little Left Bank Bordeaux.
50% Merlot & 50% Cabernet

Not bad, but a bit too young.
