I admittedly don't drink a lot of Bordeaux but I thought this had a pretty new world fruit profile. Pretty simple with a hot finish

2012. Fronsac. Really fleshing out after two days open. Mocha spice and crunchy blackberries.

Thought this was pretty terrible. No distinguishable aroma, watery flavor, and aggressive tannin.

Delish! Would probably benefit from some air and a few more years in the cellar.

CV tasting Bordeaux 11/29/16. Nose of Forest leaves that's mature and hints of dark flowers notes. Palate still had tannins and long finish. Opened 7/26/17. Drinking well. Dark berries under the forest notes and good balance on palate with a note of wildness. Would give it a bump up to 8.9 from 8.8

Silky tannins, plum, light florality, some cocoa powder, some black licorice, and like light mint and rose petals. Black blue and some green if you like to visualize colors of a wine. Almost too soft in elegance is the only issue I have. Otherwise it's an amazing relaxing wine
