dark, plummy & rich on the palate, it’s the classic Margaux perfume that impresses most ~ great drop of Bordeaux for $23.95!

A major sleeper in this vintage, the 2015 d'Arsac is superb. Hints to savory herb, flowers tobacco and mint meld into a core of sumptuous dark red fruit. This bold Margaux Cru Bourgeois is a serious overachiever and flat out delicious. The 2015 is 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Feb 2018)

One year after I find this bottle better; less tannic, and some fruit

More than 2 years since the last bottle in the case. On opening tasted rich, with tea and maybe a hint of balsamic, some oaky fruit. But after an hour and a half in the decanter, and with steaks and mushroomes and veg, it came across as a lot of graphite and earth and dark black fruit. Very good , though not a stunner.

Left Bank blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (72%) and Merlot (28%). Dark red color with purple highlights. Highly perfumed nose featuring raspberry, blueberry and violets. Plush red, blue and black berry fruit on the pallet with a touch of black tea and spice. Long and nicely oak accented finish. Medium-plus body with some power. Fresh, rich and well balanced. Drink now or hold. Thank You Keith S!

Some fruit that vanished quickly, tannins went mild.

Almost garnet. Blackcurrant, pencil, violets, black plum, cloves, leather and vanilla with lots of red raspberry too. Very delicious with a wonderfully long finish.

Very pleasant and accessible Bordeaux, some fruit and a touch of tannins. Went very well with leg of lamb casserole.

Generous amounts of dark plum and blackberry fruit. Chewy tannins and powerful structure. There is also a smoky element to this wine. Beautiful finish and pleasant aftertaste. Great now, but will become brilliant with a few more years of bottle age.

Very accessible easy drinking. Earthy and fruity. Just enough tannins to stay interesting, minimal finish. Delicious and nice to drink.
