Really delicious. Very rich in flavour but also elegant. With a lot of young fruit, blossom, vanilla and some spices. Has a nice story as well: the winemaker bought a small vineyard just outside Pomerol to make wines he loves without having to think about rules and regulations.

Minty blueberry, ham rind, violets, cassis fragrances. Burnt blueberry, charcoal, black plum skins. Black currants, lightly burned. Sloe berries, lingonberries, black clays. Aka Cambrun, 20 Mille, et al. This has JP Janoueix written all over it. Charred oak leaves leaving a fingerprint, and graphite dust to pick them up.

Going against the majority here... this wine is unfairly rated on delectable. It’s complex, balanced, nice long finish... Has all the right components to continue growing.
