Saint Angelus’ “other” wine. Killer nose. A bit bitter from heavy barrel tannin.

This is really good. Plum, cherry, raspberry flavors. Well rounded finish. Did not appreciate this wine enough the first time I had it. But the second time I had lesser wines on the table to compare it to, and it really shined.

1/2020. Nice big wine from Saint-Emilio. Nice bold red felt nice on the palate lingering after being swallowed.

Dark fruit, charcoal, and eucalyptus with youthful, firm tannins. No rush to drink but enjoyable now with some air.
