Decanted four hrs. Opened up. Soft and integrated. Wished for a little more backbone but hard to get with merlot and can franc. Beautiful, light wine.

This one ain’t coming ‘round again. Beautifully perfumed with earthen depth and elegant frame.

Gorgeous! Purity, length, complexity and harmonious structure throughout. Blown away by the freshness this had, from color to fruit character to energy on the palate. Carries the vintage well, structured yet showing incredible finesse right now. I don’t drink Bordeaux often, but damn when it hits, it hits in all the right spots. This will be even better with time IMO. What a wine

The Somm called this “rambunctious” and that’s a great descriptor. It’s half sexy sleek backless gown and half bull in a china shop. Chewy dark depth, sweet black fruit. New leather, rich soil and the sultry essence of Phoebe Cates circa ‘84. This is still ascending but much more substantial and open knit than the ‘90 tonight.

A deeply moving wine. Floral, tea leaf, black fruit and gorgeous in the palate. Thank you Pierre Barthes for sharing this bottle with us.

Not even a classic vintage and this just blew my mind. Best wine I've ever tasted. From magnum.
