Second wine from Chateau de Sales, i like the vibrant parfume, cherry, leather, tobacco, plum, and spices. On palate, wine is juicy, medium body, tannic finish with some walnuts and paprika notes. Drink now-2020. Enjoy 🍷

Light + purplish red hue. Pulled from cellar so nose is quite reticent. Light on palate, simple and pleasant with light plum. Finishes clean.

Not a good recommendation at all!
Way too high in OH, lacked character, and very harsh on the palate. I’ve had £15 wines that are better, so maybe the mark up on this guy was huge.
Stay away. From the wine and the recommendations by the staff. Food was great!!

I was a bit concerned going by the reviews of the other vintages but this 2014 #pomerol presented itself well. I let it breathe for about an hour. It's a fruit-forward #bordeaux , though still earthy, nice structure and acid balance with chewy tannins.
