Very classically styled Bordeaux for 26$ from the San Diego wine company bought last week. Quite a deal!!!! Cigar box, chassis, blueberry. Tons of tannins left! But i would just decant and drink this now.

Had an old 1985 and it was amazing with a French recipe for duck and olives! One of the best meals ever. Had to have it upright for a while cause of the sediment, then decanted for 25 minutes before drinking. So good! The cork in mine was old and fell apart three times while trying to open it but thankfully I managed to keep any cork bits for getting in the actual wine, but if you have a old bottle be careful.

Wow, this comes out swinging. Really big blackberry and cassis, with cedar and licorice. Dark and luxurious. The Cab Franc pokes through with some green. This goes down easy. Inexpensive, too.

Nose: elegant tobacco. Menthol.
Palate: lovely blackberry fruit. Very crisp and energetic. Some oak. Should integrate.

Выпито в Грушевке 05.11.17. Старое, выдержанное бордо. Декантировал 40 минут- не хватило. Думаю, его нужно было открывать лет 5 назад , на пике зрелости.
