Jan 11th, 2022I enjoyed this one. Had the 2016 in October of 2021. Leather and cherry up front with silky tannins on the finish. Hints of spice and oak dance around on the palate. A little too dry for my husband but was fantastic with garlic cheesy potatoes. I would buy again.

Oct 30th, 2021Amazing right banker! Glad I bought several at $21. Elegant lush black fruit, tobacco, leather, and earthy notes. Drinking well now but no rush!

Apr 26th, 2021Color of dried blood and purple, quite dark. Nose of black cherry, tobacco leaves, leather, cigar box, chocolate, and strength of alcohol. Nose is refined, and indicates quality Bordeaux. Taste follows the nose, with nice dark fruits, good acidity, matured tannins, more oak, and mostly dried, and pack with flavors. Aftertaste is long and dominated by the oaky note, good tannins, and ripe grape. You can fool people to claim she is >$80. A beauty.

Apr 24th, 2021Somewhat reserved at first but opens up nicely. Very soft and elegant, fine tannins. Some earth and gravel and mellow fruit.
