Château Barde-Haut
Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend
Wow for our youngest birth year wine this wine has tons of life to go. Easily another 10-15 years plenty of tannin and. Earth on palate. Leather, a little green bell pepper, dirt and tobacco

Sep 15th, 2014Not against it, but it takes itself a little seriously to be my preferred style. Well made for sure.

Nov 9th, 2022Beautifully herbaceous nose. Savory notes of oregano, tomato, pepper. Dust and earth. Fruit hanging on but more in the background. Even with 21 years of age, the color is still purple and has yet to lose its luster. On the palate, still very rounded. Olive brine from Merlot much softer and rounder. Salt still prominent with a beautiful lingering finish. Tannins and acid still beautifully balanced. 13.5% and amazing.
