Peach/nectarine fruit with vivid acidity, vaguely floral on the nose and finishes with decent minerality. Excellent balance.

The light yellow '12 Charles Smith Riesling 'Kung Fu Girl' blows away the competition for this entry-level price point. Crisp aromatics, with a corresponding flavor profile, of white peach, lemony citrus, lychee and wet stone. Slightly sweet, but with a zippy acidity that keeps it clean and focused. Immensely drinkable!

I know this is a rerun (in pilot season, no less), but it's the best $10 wine I know. And a great pairing with chicken and noodles in peanut sauce.

Bright apple flavors, not too sweet with a light cirrus bite at the end. Perfect accompaniment to spicy Asian food but goes well with Ethiopian or Jamaican also.
