Absolutely first class cab franc! Rich blackberry and hedgerow fruits on the nose, with some strong earthy notes which were very Burgundian! Rich on the palate with beautiful poise and balance, lengthy savoury finish, everything seemed to be right about this wine, brilliant!

Lots of mushroom and almost a "damp basement" odor in the nose. Very soft tannins.

Bacon wrapped beef filet and creamy mushrooms. Might have been a little overpowering for the wine, but the bottle is excellent.
