Cuvée Terroir Chinon Cabernet Franc

Classic and old school chinon.

Bright red fruit. Lots of lightness and finesse. Tastes like rustic Beaujolais. I like it a lot.

I love Cab Franc and this is a good one, pepper and graphite all day.

Tangy fresh Chinon. It's lying around and nice with hard cow cheese.

Bell pepper juice

Jouguet is a classic producer but this cuvée comes up a bit short. More stemmy than pyrazine-y and a bit dilute this comes across more like Gamay than good Chinon.

A little subdued for a Joguet. That being said, still has all of the cab franc character, chalky minerality, iron notes, rustic fruit and good acid.

Black cherry, raspberry, bramble berry, leather

Beautifully floral and fruit drive, but missing the green and earth notes.
