Grand Vallon Syrah

Basic, with primary fruit, light black pepper, a touch of smoky bacon, and violets.

Vintage 2013. Clear pretty copper pink, mefium color. Light aromas of earth and blackberries. Light flavors with a bit too much alcohol to support the shy fruit. Probably over-cropped this is a bit disappointing in its indifferent flavors.

Nice for $10.

Fruity rich Syrah for weeknight meals. Can’t beat the price.

Aroma of prunes. Smooth juicy taste of cherry juice. Dry peppery finish.

Silky and fruit forward, showing black raspberry and a soft, peppery finish. Not complex but approachable.

One of wife's favorites.

For $10/bottle, great value..

Fruity and full bodied. Nothing stands out from either a good or bad standpoint.
