Killer. Fresh, but with crazy depth. Light but powerful.

Chappellet wine dinner. I've not had much of their wines and wanted to see if they are worth a visit when we are out for our yearly Napa trip in February!

I'll be honest...if I've had chenin Blanc before, I don't remember. So, this may have been my first. Kind of surprised how much I enjoyed this. I'd want this extremely cold to be enjoyed at maximum capacity. Steely, apricots, cantaloupe maybe? Not citrusy/tropical or buttery.

The only Chenin blanc grown on Pritchard Hill, bone dry, with plenty of stone fruit. #texsom
