Chappellet wine dinner. I've not had much of their wines and wanted to see if they are worth a visit when we are out for our yearly Napa trip in February!

I'll be honest...if I've had chenin Blanc before, I don't remember. So, this may have been my first. Kind of surprised how much I enjoyed this. I'd want this extremely cold to be enjoyed at maximum capacity. Steely, apricots, cantaloupe maybe? Not citrusy/tropical or buttery.

Good stuff. Waxy, honey, melon and great acid.

2013 Chenin Blanc Signature Molly Chappellet. Beautiful floral and tropical fruit. Tasting honeydew and apricot. Excellent acidity that adds poise and brightness to a great finish. This is mountain grown.
