Pritchard Hill Estate Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Epitome of consistent. Blackberry concentrate through and through. Acidity and tannic structure require decanting, but the classic Pritchard Hill notes apply (dark fruit, dusty plum, charcoal blackberry pie). Just now entering a prime drinking window that will be open for 10+ years.

At this age the oak is at the forefront, cedary and toasted, with intense, dark berry fruit, with pronounced leather and tar. Should be rewarding in the future, but overpriced considering its rusticity.

This wine brings back so many memories for me, it's the first Napa Cabernet I really fell in love with and which undoubtedly started me down the wine path I'm on today. This is the 2008, opened it for Passover last night and it is gorgeous! Dark fruits on the palette, wonderful jamminess on the nose. This wine is brimming with cassis, boysenberry, and blackberry. Full bodied but never over powering. Still loving it as much today as in years past. Wish I had more 🍷😩

Such an amazing wine! Get a bit of licorice at the beginning and a nice smooth flavor all the way through. Amazing wine!!!

Wonderfully smooth cabernet. This 2008 vintage is a winner.

Very good with plum , dark chocolate, and a bit of coffee on finish I am a big chappellet fan especially Pritchard hill
