Expectedly, no one got this blind right. Notwithstanding that it was a Chinese Cab, the wine itself was way too “dysfunctional” to have led us anywhere. Reductive and green on the nose, coarse textures and a touch metallic on the palate. Downright nasty if you ask me, but at least there’s still fruit among the mess.

Pretty clear red color. Strong mineral scent from the glass. Green apple taste and very bitter taste. Long finish.
I've had worse Chinese wines but this is still a below average wine.

It's better than the 2000 vintage, plus it's got pioneers on the label. Pretty awesome.
