Cant say enough here to describe whats in this bottle to me. Its like the crispest cleanest most perfectly just ripe red apple flavor I've experienced. Ripe fleshy apple skin to be exact. Enormous acid, loads of sticky bread like lees and toasty pie edges. Limestone finish that lingers with leesy lime candy. The length and power in every sip is beyond impressive. This really makes me wonder what Ive had that I enjoyed more.

Dec 22nd, 2023Lemon and brioche. More oxidative than the Charles Heidsieck that this replaced. Yellow fruited, nutty, brioche, smooth champagne with tiny bubbles and a refreshing finish. This Champagne can hold for another 15 years easily. This is a good wine but very different from the Heidsieck that is actually more to the neutrality line than I was expecting. This wine is clearly on the oxidative side.
