Sonoma Coast Chardonnay

Hubby picked this up for Easter dinner. I like it fine. He doesn't. The reason? It's a Chardonnay that doesn't really taste like a classical Chardonnay. The descriptions in the other comments are accurate about the flavor, which means it's good for sipping and drinking alone but not necessarily for having with a dinner. Especially lemon chicken and cheesy veggies and rosemary focaccia rolls. If we get it again it'll be for me to drink alone.

Straight out of the Cali chard handbook with oak and butter. Average but gets 'r done for a road wine.

Marzipan, oaky, banana puddin' (the artificial kind) right off the bat not for me. The aroma is muddled and one note. The flavor has moderate acidity and is a touch hot. I'm getting some more mineral nuances on the taste but not enough to redeem this "chardy party"

My go to everyday Chardonnay. Delicious

Pretty mellow. Wanted it to hit a few higher notes. Easy to drink though.

Found this at Costco in Cabo San Lucas. Reasonable price there and very good!
