Riserva Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend

Beautiful smelling #chianticlassicoriserva. Forest floor, earthy dark fruit and a touch of truffles. Nice acidity to offset slightly spicy cherry fruit but some gnarly tannins on the palate. Great food friendly wine.

Has a hint of something interesting on its own, but certainly best with food. Roasted mushrooms w/ tomatoes+thyme would pair nicely. The partial oak maturation offers a pleasantly robust body, for a Chianti, while maintaining an earthy (almost stoney) character.
