The new @ceritaswines rosé. Barely managed to score three bottles as it sold out in about 45 minutes. Crisp citrusy orange peel and rosehip snappiness with a hint of floral quality. Super refreshing.

Another acid driven wine. Ceritas doesn’t make a rose every year but the two vintages have been excellent.

I normally have real high expectations for Ceritas across the board, and the flavor here is still good, with nice acidity, but it’s so delicate it’s bordering on being slightly anemic. It was def light, with a good balance of floral and fruit flavors, but they’re so light they’re hard to find, with not much of a nose. I’ll def try again, and I have other bottles, but not what I came to expect.

Wow! In your face tart cranberry/watermelon summer goodness. I loved the tiny allocation I got of Raytec’s 2019 rose… so when I got a slightly larger offer I went all-in this year. Very light limpid pink… then pow, right in the kisser. Racy, lively acidity… real weight on the palate. Aggressive fruit notes, blossoming into real complexity… long, luxurious finish. I don’t think my six will around after Labor Day. Summer sexy sipper!
