More delicate and lifted than the Anderson Valley bottling tasted alongside, despite clocking in at slightly higher alcohol

Yeah, yeah, I opened this way too young, but sometimes you just want a dose of pure crystalline cherry fruit filtered through an icy mountain stream and scented with freshly chopped green herbs and willow bark. Nervy, with thrumming acidity, it goes down soooooo easy. ⁣

Can’t quite decide if it needs more time or needed less. Soft. Pretty fruit.

Pleasant but not sure what the hype is all about.

Put on weight over a couple hours but never blossomed into a full bouquet on the nose and was rather single noted on the palette. A bit of a disappointment this time, but will hold remaining bottles and hope for the best.

Really good stuff. Will age spectacularly.

My favorite of the PB PNs: lush, balanced, both bright and and just a bit brooding.

Delicious. Driven by bright red fruit

Deep, dark ruby with a suuuper perfumed nose of ripe cherry and crunchy dark plum, with slightly bark notes and maybe even a little mint and balsamic showing in the background. Light medium bodied, with beautiful flavor and well integrated tannin, there’s still SO much energy to this, with strange and fun note of things like pine needles, balsamic, pomegranate, peppery notes and ripe plum, with hints of black mulch and iron integrated throughout.
