Very aromatic and much improved after 7 years. Tart cherry/plum and at 12.3 alc is a touch short of where it would have been singing. CA ain’t Burgundy so don’t try to mimic. Use the sun! This is the best of the 2013s I’ve had so far.

Darker in the glass and on the nose than the hallenthal vineyard. More toasty baking spice, clove, Wild flowers (almost like walking through a field of wild flowers.) The palate is seductively smooth with chewy market cherries and more floral accents. As opposed to the last one, this needs no time at all - pop and pour and enjoy.

Flowers and slate, cherry and lavender, fresh and vibrant. Time to start planning a tour of Sonoma...

Cherry fruit, good grip, acidity and structure. Very young of course. I’d guess this will evolve nicely.

An impossibly deep, dark, and mature expression of honest Pinot noir. Like sage advice from an older sibling. Neither candied nor ripe nor lean. Everything it it’s confident place.

Aromas of barely tart berries and oak, iodine, dark cocoa, and smoke. 70% whole cluster.

2015 vintage. Cinnamon, cedar nose. Totally reminiscent of old school Williams Selyem. Great medium palate of dark cherry, forest floor and bacon. Finish drops out from underneath your feet tho.
