Wow! Concentrated and intense nose of red flowers, just ripe red and black fruit, lots and lots of earth, barely touching of new oak if any. The palate is all mineral and earth, with mushrooms, stemmy wood, an iron core and long floral finish. Truly great wine. Tasting blind I think I’d call it 1er cry Burgundy 10 times out of 10. Possibly the best California Pinot I’ve ever tasted in this style
