Monsordo Langhe Rosso Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

Deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits and sweet herb spice. On the palate flavors ripe blackberry, plum and blueberry with vanilla and notes of cacao. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit and spice. Very nice!

Blackberry, plum, perhaps light anise note on the nose. Lightly peppered plum with minor oak influence on the palate.

Very young. Crimson purple in colour. Subdued nose. Mouth puckering tannins. Demands food.

Rose petals, white clay, licorice, and a silky mouthfeel.

Syrah and merlot blend made by Ceretto. Very modern

A lot better than Super Tuscans at twice the price.

Powerful blend from the langhe.

The sum only vaguely reminds me of its constituent parts, and that is fine. Intriguing, vinous bouquet but youthful and lively structure. Versatile throughout a long, delicious meal.

Pre-ripe apple? As it opened up, brought a slight touch of butter through a mild runny finish. Drinkable but a too sour for my buds. Could possibly use a bit more age on the shelf to mellow a bit.
