Drank with New Years Eve dinner from The Tavern. Wagyu Bolognese and embarrassingly small petit filet. Really enjoyable wine. Good dark fruits.

2007 vintage. Medium cherry ruby. Cherry, smoke, violet, bitumen and rose petal. Typical Barolista wine. On the palette, sour cherry, raspberry, woody, smoke, rose and violet to the fore. Medium plus tannins, grippy. High acidity gives the wine a crisp finish which is medium plus. A touch rustic perhaps. Decent.
