Ceretto
Bricco Rocche Barolo Nebbiolo
Density and fruit aplenty, but still too much obvious new oak. So much so that I felt it masked a lot of the fruit’s quality. Expensive for what it offered, and not for me.

Apr 29th, 2024Drank with New Years Eve dinner from The Tavern. Wagyu Bolognese and embarrassingly small petit filet. Really enjoyable wine. Good dark fruits.

Jan 1st, 2024Brilliant, changing my mind on the Barolos. Love the balance, the nose did not disappoint after tasting

Jun 10th, 20172007 vintage. Medium cherry ruby. Cherry, smoke, violet, bitumen and rose petal. Typical Barolista wine. On the palette, sour cherry, raspberry, woody, smoke, rose and violet to the fore. Medium plus tannins, grippy. High acidity gives the wine a crisp finish which is medium plus. A touch rustic perhaps. Decent.
