As per previous notes. Some floral and tarry notes with menthol and ferrous nuances. On the medium weight palate liquorice and aniseed with little fruit coming through at this age. Finishes with sandy persistent and very dry tannins. Have had better examples from the Asili vineyard.

Apr 6th, 2020Mid Ruby in colour with tawny edge. On the nose more savoury balsamic notes than fruit aromas. Light to medium bodied finishing with assertive sandy dry Tannins - medium + Acid. Expecting a little more complexity coming at the end of its drinking window and from the Asili vineyard. After a couple of hours in the decanter aromas of fine quality leather.
