On the nose, this is an absolute kirsch bomb with some hints of licorice and spice. The palate gets covered with rich, dark cherry liqueur and Mediterranean spices. Medium-lowish tannin and medium acidity. It’s a bit simple but it’s an N.V. Vino da Tavola so let’s not get too carried away. This is more than satisfying and a great Tuesday night food wine. Undeniably good for the money. I mean, Cerbaiona? For $25? Crazy.
