Complex with earth, herbaceousness, pipe tobacco, blackberry and boysenberry. High level of tannins. Delish but needs time.

Super ripe blackness and blueness with a big dose of oak. I can smell the rocks on the steep hillside vineyards of the Priorat.

2011 vintage - full and balanced not complex but a delicious wine. Tasted best on the colder side 36 to 42 F. The fruit did not overpower the tannin. Great Spanish style wine. Perfect accompaniment to marinara. Also great alone. Can drink it like milk.
