Dark garnet. Shy but inviting plummy nose, enhanced on the medium palate with black cherry, soft leather, and black tea. Juicy medium acidity and medium minus tannins, neither of which is particularly assertive. Moderate finish is mostly dark. Wonderful oddball blend (Syrah, Pinot Noir, Merlot) that’s a great pair for Southwest Asian and North African fare. Plain old American will also show well. Drink now through 2024.

You know this blend of syrah, pinot noir and merlot was good. They certainly know what they are doing at Ceja and they are super, sweet folks to boot! Go and visit them!
