Decent bottle for the price. It needed to breathe a bit first.

Clear, dark, garnet red. Full nose of red cherry and leather. Palate echoes with a hint of spice mid palate. Medium tannins assert themselves after a bit of air. Medium acidity. Medium long finish. Great QPR. Wonderful foil for lasagna.

Props to wifey @Caroline Graham for this state store wine find. Chianti can run a little hot for me but the black pepper is nicely balanced with fresh earth.
